UK: Apartment Fire in Battersea Forces 50 Residents to Evacuate, Three Hospitalized

A fire broke out on the seventh floor of a 10-story residential building on Charlotte Despard Avenue in Battersea, London, on Monday evening, May 11. Around 50 residents were evacuated, and three people were hospitalized. Some 60 firefighters responded to the blaze, which destroyed a four-room apartment. The cause is under investigation.
